If you are looking to start a business in Australia, or to migrate to Australia as a business owner or investor, there are different options available as business visa including:

 

Business Innovation stream (Provisional)

The applicant needs to buy an existing business or start a new business in Australia. This is a 4-year temporary visa and the visa holder may be eligible to apply for permanent visa if they meet the obligation under provisional visa for at least two years.

 

Business Investment stream (Provisional)

The applicant needs to make a designated investment of at least AUD1.5million in an Australian state or territory and maintain business and investment activity in Australia. This visa is valid for 4 years and then possibility of applying for permanent residency after meeting the obligations under this visa.

 

Business Innovation and Investment (Residence)

This is the permanent visa for the holders of Provisional Business Innovation and Investment visas. The applicant needs to have established a business operation in Australia or to have maintained an investment fund.

 

Significant Investor

This is a 4-year temporary visa for people who invest $5 million in Australia.

Business Talent (Permanent) Visa

 

Business Talent visa is for applicants with an overall successful business career as the owner of a business, or applicants with Venture Capital funding in Australia. The applicant needs state or territory government sponsorship.

Business Visitor Visas

 

In order to visit Australia for 3 months or less to attend business meetings or to explore business opportunities, you can apply for a business visitor visa.
